From the Desk of The Principal
Half-way through the month of May already which now leaves a total of 27 school days until the end of the second quarter. We are down into the twenties which is amazing when one considers that this end of term will herald our mid-year break.

Thank you so much . . .
. to the ± 540 moms and grandmas who were present in the hall on Friday;
. for your warm response to and applause for the learners in each grade who presented their individual/group items;
. for staying at school to enjoy the special treats and refreshments;
. for visiting the children in their classrooms to collect your Mothers’ Day items and to share in the classroom activities;
. for making Mr “Ryan Seacrest”Wilson – your Master of Ceremonies – feel so appreciated. I had a wonderful Mothers’ Day weekend!
. for the many messages of appreciation and thanks in support of the day. I sincerely hope that all our moms were spoilt and treated throughout the day on Sunday.
From the Desk of the Acting Deputy Principal
What a wonderful response from our Northlands mothers! Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedules to support the Mothers’ Day presentation. The school was buzzing with over 500 mothers in the hall. The educators and learners were also very excited about the visits to the classrooms as each class had made special cards to give to the much-loved moms.
Thank you to Mr Wilson for entertaining us and for honouring our special moms – you were fantastic!
